Katie Weir
Mrs Weir is starting her 16th year of teaching, and her 11th at James Clemens! She began teaching at JCHS in the fall of 2013, and currently teaches Forensics, Human Body Systems (PLTW), and Medical Interventions (PLTW). Over the years, she has taught Forensics, Principles of Biomedical Science, AP Biology, Biology I, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Marine Science, and Environmental Science. In addition to teaching, she has coached high school competitive dance teams, tennis and golf teams in the past.
Mrs. Weir is the point of contact at James Clemens for all research competitions. She always puts her students and their motivations first and is the pillar of support to help them succeed. She also prides herself in making all her students aware of the current scientific discoveries in biology and to engage them in seeking answers to current problems.
